We are
most interested in your continued support for the
Genesians and the best way we know you can do that is
support our present Genesians in their endeavors.
At Geni Nite in 2001, Mr. Guajardo announced that he
would like to see the beginning of a parents' club
founded to give assistance of all kinds to the Genesians
Players. In particular, Mr. G. was looking for someone
to underwrite Geni Nite. Also, as moderator, Mr.
Guajardo was looking for sources for stage furniture,
and accessories used to produce the plays.
The following school year, Ms. Susan Ameen, mother of
Rummel Alum, Jason, and Genesian Tiffany, began the
club and served as the first president.
Spencer Harris, father of Genesian alums Rachel,
Rebecca, and Mary Lee, was named president in 2002-03.
The Boosters have been building ever since that initial
group opened the club in '01.
Membership: To be a Booster, annual dues are $25.00.
Primarily this goes for Awards and Geni Nite Banquet.
There are also other levels of membership.
The Boosters have initiated an Alumni Nite to encourage
Genesian Alumni to renew their participation in the
group. The evening consists of a reception in the
Faculty Dining Hall at 6:30 PM with a 7:30 PM curtain
for the play. The cost of this ticket is $15.00.
