An Actor's Prayer

This prayer is recited before all Genesian Players ceremonies.

O, noble Genesius, who sanctified our art by your martyrdom, bid God accept this our humble creation made for His honor and glory.

Direct us to be worthy performers for the stage
you so ennobled.

Guide our destinies, Genesius, so that we may bring Christ to others though the joyful celebration of our roles in life..

We ask this of you, in the name of God.
